Apple may offer iWatch in men's and women's sizes

The Apple iWatch will come in men’s and woman’s sizes, according to the latest rumour.

Speaking at a conference in Taiwan, David Hsieh claimed that Apple will launch its smartwatch in two sizes, one aimed at men, the other aimed at women.
Hsieh is president of the Greater China market at DisplaySearch. He told attendees that the source was from within Apple itself. Hiesh’s comments were published by the Korea Herald.

Apple is thought to be building a smartwatch, but the company has so far refused to confirm its existence.
The latest rumour builds upon earlier claims that Apple has been testing two display sizes – one 1.3-inch and another 1.7-inch in size. The rumours have not detailed dimensions of the screen.
By comparison, Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy Gear smartwatch has a 1.63-inch screen.

It had been thought that the company may launch it this year. However, with both of its major keynotes having taken place and it getting closer to Christmas, it is increasingly unlikely we’ll see it this year.
The company has also been on a hiring spree of late. In September, Apple reportedly hired the designer Ben Schaffer from Nike’s design studio the Innovation Kitchen. Schaffer is best known for his work on the Nike Fuelband.
