HTC One successor to arrive early next year

HTC could launch the successor to its award winning HTC One smartphone in the US in early 2014.

Tweets from @evleaks suggests that HTC will launch the follow up to the HTC One will be available in the next few months. The tweets also suggest that the device will be available across all four US networks.
The device is currently codenamed M8. According to rumours, the phone is said to have a 5-inch or 5.2-inch display with 3GB RAM. It is also likely to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

Little else is known about the phones specifications at the moment.
The tweets come days after images of what is claimed to be the M8 were unearthed. The device looks like the HTC One, except for the cutout on the rear.
It is likely the cut out will be used for a fingerprint reader similar to the one found on the HTC One Max.

The HTC One cleaned up at this year’s T3 Gadget Awards. The phone won Best Design, Best Phone and Best Gadget of the Year.
