Droid Life managed to get access to promos of the new Google Maps web app that is likely to be launched this week at Google I/O 2013.

They have posted a bunch of screenshots which were accessible for a small time period. As expected, the new update is focused on a more immersive user experience with personalized suggestions. Google seems to be targeting Facebook Explorer with this new update.
